If you’re a worn-out nurse wishing someone would prescribe you an island vacation STAT, well, you’re in luck. CheapCaribbean is sending fifty nurses — and their plus-ones — on free flights to the tropical destination of their choice.
This flu season, instead of responding to code blues and charting until your eyes cross, you could be getting a hearty dose of vitamin D in places like Punta Cana, Bermuda, or Belize. Frequent fliers and happy juice will take on a whole new meaning.
Nurses are among the most overworked and underpaid professionals on the planet. In America, newly licensed nurses mainly work 12-hour shifts, and nearly half work voluntary overtime; 62 percent of nurses feel burned out on the regular; and 49 percent have considered leaving the profession in the past two years.
And despite all of their intense effort, 1 of every 8 new nurses reports having a second job. A nurse’s line of work is often physically exhausting, emotionally and mentally draining, and frustratingly thankless — few people are more deserving of a Caribbean getaway.
Ready to fly away from flu germs and get some much-needed R&R in the form of salt air and sunshine? To enter, eligible nurses must sign up by 11:59PM CST on Nov. 4, 2019, to join CheapCaribbean’s ER&R Club, which offers all-inclusive deals exclusively for nurses. On Nov. 5, ER&R Club members will receive an email to register for free flights, and the first fifty nurses to register can start packing their bags.

The fine print: ER&R Club members will have to select dates for a trip of at least five nights any time from Jan. 1 through June 30, 2020. Some blackout dates apply. Nurses who receive the free flights must book on United Airlines by Nov. 15, 2019.
