British Airways is having its annual World Sale, with great deals on flights around Europe and to destinations in Africa and the Middle East.
The catch: The sale is on flights started and finished in the U.K., so while this won't necessarily get travelers a deal getting across the pond, it's great for anyone already there or planning to go and wanting to do some exploring.
The sale runs through September 25 and includes flights to and from the airline’s headquarters at London Gatwick, Heathrow and City airports. The deals are valid for flights at the end of the year or through the middle of 2019, depending on the destination.
“This is one of our most anticipated sales of the year and we’ve got fantastic offers to suit all budgets and types of holiday from fly-drive to fly-and-flop,” Adam Daniels, chief commercial officer for the airline, said in a statement.
From London, there are “city break” vacations to Italy, Germany and Austria available from £99 (about $128).
British Airways is also offering a round-trip vacation from London to Durban, South Africa from $620 (£479) or the Seychelles for £979 (about $1,268). Other holiday destinations included the sale are Dubai, the Caribbean and Singapore.
The sale ends at midnight on September 25. British Airways allows travelers to book with a deposit as low as £150 (about $194).
