President’s Day weekend is upon us, which can only mean one thing: The sales are here. And WOW air is offering one whopper of a deal: $45 flights to Iceland.
WOW Air announced Friday that the airline is offering $45 one-way flights to Iceland from New York City (EWR), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), and Baltimore/Washington, D.C. (BWI).
To get the deal, all you need to is book your flight on Presidents Day, February 18, for travel between March 1 – May 31, 2019. But, you better act fast as the offer only applies to 1,000 seats on select flights. The deal is only valid when booked on a return trip, so travelers still have to cover the cost of an additional one-way ticket.
“We are thrilled to offer travelers an opportunity to explore Iceland this spring in honor of Presidents Day,” Skúli Mogensen, founder and CEO of WOW Air, said in a statement.
As WOW Air notes, springtime really is one of the most desirable seasons to visit. The Northern Lights are still popping, the glaciers on Diamond Beach are still glimmering, and the nightlife in Reykjavik is still bumping.
