WOW Air is offering affordable flights to go see the aurora borealis up close and personal, starting at $99 one-way. The budget airline has cheap flights to Reykjavik, Iceland, out of Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, New York City, Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Washington D.C. for this fall and winter.
Return flights can be a bit more expensive, but it is possible to score another $99 fare back, depending on when you fly.
The cheap flights are available for travel dates from September through the end of 2018. Depending on your departure city, there are also $99 one-way flights through spring 2019.
