Budget airline Primera Air announces new routes and $149 fares to Europe

Fancy a European getaway? You’re in luck because another European airline is expanding its routes to and from the U.S. so you can hop across the pond.

Low-cost Primera Air has announced new U.S. routes to Europe, mainly to Brussels, Belgium from Boston, Newark Liberty and Washington Dulles airports, USA Today reported.

If you’re ready to plan a trip, you won’t have to wait too long. One daily flight will begin from Newark Liberty starting in May 2019, and multiple weekly flights from Washington Dulles and Boston Logan begin in June, according to USA Today. Primera Air also flies to London Stansted and Paris Charles de Gaulle from these cities.

With the addition of the three new routes, Primera Air will offer flights to eight European cities from the U.S.

Flights on the new routes will begin at $149 one way for passengers coming from Boston and Newark and $199 one way for those coming from Washington Dulles.

Be forewarned, however, that Primera Air is a budget airline, much like WOW Air and Spirit. That means services like seat assignments and baggage can incur extra fees. Pay close attention to any fees for services you're going to want to ensure you get the best deal possible.
